Gretchen & Bev Get Married!

You ever see two people together and just think 'man, they are in love!'? Today, Gretchen and Bev were those two people! Tying the knot today at Como Conservatory, Gretchen and Bev are officially married! These two lovely ladies kept their day intimate and as joyful as possible. Their nearest and dearest surrounded them, cheered for them and celebrated with them! Two gorgeous brides and two gorgeous locations made for a fantastic day, despite (another) rainy and chilly Minnesota spring day.

After enjoying the atmosphere and light at one conservatory, everyone made their way over to another (albeit smaller) conservatory for the reception at the 5120 Restaurant & Onyx Bar. The glow of the evening was perfect inside of the space with three large chandeliers and reflective water wall. Dinner was served (perfectly cooked rare steak by the way) and guests, and the brides, enjoyed the company and happiness that filled the room.

After a sweet first dance, Gretchen and Bev were joined with their guests for a little boogie-ing. And what do you get with double the brides? Doubles the bouquets! Thus, double the luck during the bouquet toss! (Just be careful of any breakables near by...)

Gretchen and Bev, it was a wonderful time being with the two of you as you made your LOVE official, and legal! =) Enjoy the sneak peek!

Jeremy & Mackenzie Get Married!

Here we go! Jeremy and Mackenzie tied the knot today at Minneapolis City Hall and Courthouse! This quirky and sweet couple truly made their big day personal and detailed! From the start I knew this couple was having a very hands-on approach regarding their wedding day plans. I can't imagine the number of hours that went into this DIY wedding.

Jeremy and Mackenzie basically love all animals. So, naturally it became an adorable theme for today. There were literally hundreds of solid gold painted animals; ranging in size and species! =) Some were purely decorative and others were turned into place card holders. On top of the hundreds of little animals, this beautiful bride made the flowers by hand! Although, she can't take claim on making them all... Turns out the father of the bride created a few hundred paper flowers too! Jeremy dug his heels into the planning details as well including, and quite impressively might I add, designing and screen printing ALL of the stationery. Invites. Programs. Thank you's. Save the dates. Place cards. Tidbit cards placed on each table. Incredibly detailed!

The happy couple kept their day lovely and relaxed! Atlas Grill had a wonderful display for the entrees and guests certainly filled up their plates. DJ Paul Young made sure the evening stayed moving and filled up the dance floor with dancing toes. Big and small!

Enjoy the sneak peek you two! It was great being a part of your day!
