Jaci & Joe Get Married

What a fun day! Jaci and Joe were married today and what a happy couple they were! These two people are quite possibly the nicest people out there and today they were surrounded by loved ones to share in their momentous day! The day started with a slightly damp first sight but there was plenty of official umbrella holders to make sure everyone stayed dry and in one piece. The raindrops didn't get this bride and groom down though, just thought of as lots and lots of good luck falling down upon them. 

Lots of love and support in today's wedding as well as lots of color! The bridesmaids wore a bold jade color satin dress while Jaci was beautiful all in white with just a touch of jade in her sash. The gentlemen looked sharp in all black tuxes with pops of jade in their ties and vests. To compliment the women's dresses their bouquets were multi-colored daisies which brought lots of pops of color everywhere you looked--how fun! 

After pictures at Hidden Falls in St. Paul the wedding party and happy couple headed over to Fort Snelling Memorial Chapel to prepare for their ceremony. The rain was on and off all afternoon and luckily never got too heavy to cause too many hiccups. After the ceremony Jaci and Joe were escorted in a 1949 Plymouth, or as far as I know about it, an awesome old school car! This really made for some fun images of the happy couple and for an interesting ride around St. Paul! 

The night continued with a delicious buffet-style dinner at DeGidio's in St. Paul. The banquet room was decorated with touches of jade to match the bridemaids' dresses, candles and sparkly black fabric adding some dimension to each centerpiece. After two very sweet speeches by the best man and maid of honor, Joe spoke ever-so-sweetly about his new wife and their new family. Although he mentioned it was just written this morning, Joe really spoke from the heart and sent chills through me when he mentioned how Jaci holds his life together and his some of his favorite moments are watching Spongebob on a Saturday night with his now step-children and waking up with everyone there with him. It was mentioned more than once tonight and I must agree, these two were meant for each other.

Kate & Johan Get Married

So, I am a few days late with this post but it was totally worth the wait! :) Just as this happy couple was during their engagement session, Kate and Johan were stunning on their wedding day! With a hint of vintage touches, Kate had her hair in a chignon style hairdo, with a bit of bling and pop of pink lips matched by a softer pink in the bridesmaid dresses. Johan and his groomsmen looked fresh and summery in their light tuxes that went along with the bits of gold throughout the wedding decorations. Their wedding day was truly beautiful; not only the bride and groom but the ceremony location held at Our Lady Victory Chapel at St. Kate's University in St. Paul was to die for! High archways, stunning iron details on turquoise colored doors, gorgeous light flooding through the huge doors and windows as well as a fantastic August breeze throughout the entire ceremony. 

The ceremony started off so sweetly when Johan saw Kate for the first time come through the light filled doorways. While tears of joy filled Johan's eyes, smiles beamed from the groomsmen behind him! After the ceremony we all headed outside and enjoyed the weather during photos before heading to the reception at the Olympic Hills Golf Club in Eden Prairie. 

Soft pinks and golds were carried out through the centerpieces lit by the large windows in the Olympic Hills ballroom. And as the sun set, floating candles and votives left a light glow on each table and head table. Guests got to enjoy several different flavors of cupcakes as well as bite size cheesecake! 

The party really began when family and friends hopped onto the dance floor and really let loose! Lots of showing off with crazy dance moves as well as some quite skilled dance moves throughout the entire night! It was definitely hard narrowing down which images to show here! 

Kate and Johan, you had a fabulous day and I was so happy to be there to capture it! Here are quite a few of my favorites, I can't wait to show you the rest! Enjoy!
