Nick & Amy Get Married!

Today was f-u-n! Nick and Amy tied the knot and they sure knew how to loosen up when it was time. Amy looked stunning in her dress from Our Shop in Stillwater and her mom even blinged out her hot pink heels! (Seriously, that had to have taken some serious concentration!) Bridesmaids wore long light-weight black chiffon dresses accompanied by pink hued bouquets by J & J Glassing Florist.  Ceremony took place at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Eagan and the exposed wood beams in the sanctuary felt so fresh and modern! Three hundred family and friends filled the congregation to witness Nick and Amy say 'I do'. We also had the great pleasure of working with Greg from Thuente Productions as the videographer for the day.

I had the opportunity to join the wedding party as they let loose on the party bus on the way to Moose Country for a little more "partying". After decompressing with a little dance party and drinks, we headed to Lebanon Hills for crazy-fun photos with the wedding party. This group was rowdy!! In the best way! :) So much fun when a bride and groom and wedding party show their personality during photos! We did manage to squeeze a little romance in with Nick and Amy before leaving for the reception.

When we arrived at Royal Cliff guests filled the dining space and Midwest Sound  took care of their entertainment until the bride and groom arrived. The wedding party was so energetic and they really had some fun getting creative their "grand entrance" entrance. Again, so fun! Once seated Nick and Amy cut into their four tiered cake by Farmington Bakery. It smelled delicious! Royal Cliff has in-house catering and it was so good! The lasagna was particularly my favorite, I couldn't eat it fast enough.

The rest of the reception was so personal and so fun. After a few rounds of glass clinking, Nick and Amy decided that if guests were to clink their glass that they would then choose a couple at random in which Amy and Nick would mimic whatever said couple did... This did NOT hold the guests back in clinking those glasses! But it sure was a nice twist on the tradition. And this is one loved couple! There were at least 6 toasts! A little razzing on poor Nick, all in good fun of course, but also a lot of love and best wishes!

It was tricky narrowing down images tonight, as always! Enjoy the glimpse into today!
