Chris & Heidi Get Married!

A truly wonderful and unique couple tied the knot today. Chris and Heidi are officially husband and wife! Self-proclaimed as wacky and weird, these two love birds had a spectacular and intimate celebration with their nearest and dearest on the rooftop of Le Meridien Chambers Hotel. The pair met just about a year ago and after hours of conversation on their first date into the wee hours of the night, they knew there was something special going on between them. A message passed on from Heidi's father put it simply, that she had finally found her soulmate and everyone couldn't be happier for the newlyweds. 

The venue space was perfectly simplistic with breathtaking views of Hennepin Avenue. Heidi and Chris wanted their day to be casual and easy, but still something special. Steering away from traditional takes of the wedding day like cake cutting and a wedding party, they instead focused on great food (nailed that, by the way), good company and a wonderful ambience. Heidi was stunning in her beaded champagne dress from Dilliard's and Chris was perfectly coiffed to accompany his new bride. Such a fun couple. Just real and honestly in love people. This groom sure does know how to make his bride laugh with cheesy jokes and some spicy commentary. He may have earned himself a few eye rolls here and there as well! 

After a sweet ceremony led by a family friend, and pastor, guests enjoyed drinks and passed hors d'euorvers and of course the awesome balcony. Today's weather couldn't have been more perfect. We took full advantage of the weather, the view and this lovely couple's willingness for just 'one more' photo op. I also caught on more than one occasion this evening these two whispering I love you's and stealing happy glances with one another. So. In. Love.
