Kelly was stunning in her gown from the Wedding Shoppe. Literally gasp-worthy; as from where I stood during the processional, it was like a surround sound of guests catching their breath as she walked the winding pathway. The "wow's" and "oh my god's" were being whispered all around me. And Alejandro's smile emulated those exact feelings as he saw his bride. A beautiful addition to the Kelly's wedding day look was a lovely string of pearls that was given to her from her grandmother, who had received them as a gift from her husband, Kelly's grandfather, from Japan during World War II. Such an amazing heirloom! Her lovely maids wore light pink Kennedy Blue dresses also from The Wedding Shoppe beautifully accompanied with small sprays of baby's breath bouquets from Jandrich Floral. The men of course were crisp and dapper in their light gray suits and mint green vests from Men's Warehouse.
Father Steve led a very sweet and fun ceremony as the sun shone down on the park. The music from harpist, Denise Boczek, was just beautiful playing throughout. After a sweet kiss (and standing ovation from Alejandro's father), photos around the park and a quick pitstop on the side of 35W... it was time to party! Guests were awaiting the wedding party's arrival at the quaint and secluded Theodore Wirth Chalet. Liz from Jenna A Events was the couple's day-of coordinator and she was amazing! Both ceremony and reception ran perfectly at the hands of Liz's careful attention.
Prom Catering served a delicious salad (who knew you could grill romaine... yum!) and a full serving for dinner. Topped off with cake from Queen of Cakes, and this party was ready to get started! And oh boy, did it! Kelly and Alejandro received tons of cheers as they spun and dipped on the dance floor. The energy was high and it stayed that way all night! Sam from Bellagala kept the music hot and this dancing group going. SUCH a fun group!
